One effective way to speed up your computer with Windows XP is to increase the amount of RAM - but this is costly and troublesome as you have to open up the chassis.
Good news: there's another easier and cheaper way - use a ReadyBoost-like software called eBoostr which allows cheaper flash memory or thumbdrives to perform file caching, which reduces time for boot-up and launching of frequently-used applications! And best of all, it's absolutely FREE (works for 4 hours after each system boot)!
I've recently installed it and plugged in a 4GB thumbdrive (S$28.50 only at Challenger with a random read speed of 12MB/s!) and improved the overall system performance - the improvement is more obvious when I'm playing graphics-intensive games like Cabal!
Boost your computer performance now with eBoostr here!
